A great day out and to see the 'locals' Bali. Everything is included, lunched at the end is amazing, prepared by the tour guide's wife.
The tour guide is Bob, who is a legend.. Very friendly and informative.
Easy ride, not strenuous... You drive up to the volcano and basically cycle all the way back to Ubud, mainly down hill, taking in lovely rice field vistas and villages.
Highly recommend as top thing to do in Bali.
Thanks bob! :)

What an amazing day! My son and I were slightly hesitant to do this tour, not being the strongest cyclers, but what an amazing experience. Dewa is the most generous and patient host we could have had. Integrating very experienced cyclers and the two of us with ease and sharing every possible bit of his life in Ubud while doing so - even a homemade meal by his wife (possibly the best meal I had in Bali). Breakfast on a spice tour, a quick picture with a volcano in the background, short stops to witness whatever anyone in the group needed to see or know more about (Dewa: "you don't ask you lose"). And then of course we were lucky enough to land with an amazing group of people. It was yet another example of the trademark indiscriminate Balinese hospitality and a certain highlight. I recommend it to everyone.
Source:TripAdvisorWe booked via E-Mail one afternoon before and still everything fine. Great Tour and a lot of informations around bali, hinduism and their culture. Thank you Bob from Evelyn and Florian

We just had an epic day with Bob ( Dewa ) and his awesome and friendly team! So much packed into one day and for amazing value to! (NZ $40 pp ) We were picked up promptly right on time then off with the other members of the group to a coffee plantation. This was an experience in it self and we enjoyed tasting the many different coffee and tea! Next off to visit the volcano MT Batur. After a few snaps we were down the road a bit then onto the bikes! What a sweet ride! Mostly all down hill - with a couple of hills in between - after the first one we got bananas at the top and as much water as we wanted. Some of the crew even pushed the bikes up the hill so people could walk up bike free! You bike past many temples and rice fields just such an amazing way to see Bali! The day ended at Dewas house where we enjoyed a delicious lunch! Cooked by his wife! Dewa is such a friendly and down to earth man! We had such a great day and simply the best way to learn about Bali and its culture! Thanks BOB!

Bob and his team were just that, a team. They were coordinated, timely, friendly and accommodating. I got picked up on time and taken to the meeting spot and immediately felt welcome. Bob has great English and a clever sense of humor. We had a relaxed visit to all the sights and had time to enjoy each area before moving on to the next. Bob spent time teaching us many facets of Indonsian and Balinese culture and history and did it with a sense of humor! That isn't easy in a foreign language. At the end of it, we ate an amazing and plentiful lunch that his wife cooked at his home. To me, that is what visiting another country should include to get the real immersion. I highly recommend this tour and you will be so happy you did.

BOB (or Dewa) is a really nice guy, and a really good guide too. Although he prefers that we call him a friend. Don't see me as your guide, see me as a friend. Bob is your friend, we are cycling as a group, as friends. We were with 6 people, we just met, but it feels like we knew each other for ages! De tour was really nice, we saw some beautiful sawa's and we did some off road bikingtour, because we not only wanted to see how rice grows but also how they cut, collect and dry it. After 29 kilometers we arrived at Bob's house. His wife made a delicious lunch for us. An Indonesian buffet, with the best tempeh I've ever tasted. I recommend this tour to everyone!

Booked by phone the previous day. Picked up at the hotel. Stopped for coffee then a short van ride. Bob gave us lots of local info on the way to the Batur area lookout. The tour was down hill 99% on trails through rice plantations, side roads and villages. Plenty of time to take photos. Very enjoyable and a fantastic day out. Highly recommended and we would repeat this tour again. Best lunch in Bali too. Bob was a wonderful guide.

Bali on bike is one of the best highlights of our Bali trip. I went there with my wife. It is one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Simply amazing !!! We were picked up from our hotel at around 7:15 and drove till the start point. We were a group of 6 people. Bob is an awesome host. He made us feel very comfortable. We went for breakfast to a coffee plantation with Bob giving us interesting information along the way on the culture, heritage and people of Bali. We went inside the plantations and Bob told us about how the luwak eats the coffee cherries and how one of the worlds most expensive coffee is made!! After a good breakfast and tea and coffee tasting at the plantations, we headed to our cycling start point. Our well serviced bikes were waiting for us. We started the cycling which was not difficult as most of it is downhill. On the way we passed through villages and small towns, rice fields with Bob giving us insights into the Balinese way of life. We stopped on the way for some fresh coconut water and bananas. It was a beautiful experience cycling in the heart of Bali in the cool morning breeze. The whole support staff was very helpful and cooperative. One of the best part was the amazing Balinese lunch we had at Bob's place which was prepared by Bob's wife. Simply wow. Thanks Bali on Bike and Bob for the excellent hospitality. Strongly recommended !!!
